Either the people whom I said, “February March,” to didn’t notice or they didn’t care. Or they were trying to act as if they didn’t notice or care.
Getting away with saying, “February March,” instead of, “Thank you very much,” is not nearly as gratifying as one might imagine. I think the brain gives itself a little reward when you really say, “Thank you.” When you say, “February March,” your brain realizes that it’s being fooled and holds back the pleasure chemicals, even if you were truly grateful.
Anyway, it was still a fun idea.
