How I did it: Went to Rock Werchter, a music festival in Belgium last summer. It was a great laugh and apparently the last chance to see them for a while. I was there with a great bunch of people, we drove all the way to Belgium from the UK with a Polish driver who couldn't speak English and though that was a bit stressful at times it mainly added to the fun. next to our tents were two guys, a Dutchman and a Pole, they were playing guitar (Pearl Jam and Metallica songs all the time) and that warmed us up for the wonderful concerts coming up. We also saw Faithless, Beastie Boys, Kings of Leon and a lot of other cool bands. It was ace.

Very much worth it… a bit expensive. But I loved every minute of it.
I saw them June 17th, 2008 in Virginia Beach. The weather was perfect. The sound was great. The performance was one to remember.

November 06 in Brisbane…..I spent ages on the net trying to get tickets…and was a little disappointed with the seats I got in the presale. When we got there the seats weren’t as bad as I thought they would be and the atmosphere was pure electric. This is something I have to do again. The most amusing part was a few days later. I went to the Friday night concert and I went to work the following Monday, one of the kids in my Grade 5 class was jumping around with excitement at the start of the day….. He looked at me with a huge gleam in his eye and said…..Guess what I did, I went to the Pearl Jam Concert on Saturday….....my reply was…..Guess what, I went on Friday! His face hit the floor and my credibility as his teacher grew enormously!
so today is friday august 3rd! in two days.. sunday august 5th i will see Pearl Jam play at Lollapalooza in Chicago at 8o’clock! I AM SO EXCITED I CAN’T CONTAIN MYSELF… perhaps I should join a have more patience group. My life is about to become complete!
