Make a Website For My Art

So i’ve been building a website on a free site on the internet, www.webs.com the url for my site is http://www.rachelblackwell.webs.com I’ve been continually updating it and changing the words to try and get it to be what i want it to be, its had a slow stream of visitors mostly my facebook friends I think as the viewing levels go up when i mention it in my status. I’m wondering how I can get more visitors, im going to open my shop on there on wednesday. If I can sell some work via there I’ll be able to afford to purchase a direct url. Am thinking I might put some things on ebay also as that will be easier for people to find it, and perhaps from that they might go to my site or something.

I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, and really should get started, or at least buy the domain name I want so when i’ve got the design sorted its ready to upload.

I bought Building Website the Right Way, and just read the introduction. Looks pretty solid. I’ll keep you posted.
