See "Gorillaz" In Concert

I found this on the Gorillaz site:

As many Gorillaz fans will be aware, longtime Gorillaz stylist and photo consultant Jamie Hewlett has dabbled in other art projects over the years, so it’s no surprise that while the band has gone AWOL, he looks set to score a hit on BBC3 with the upcoming pilot for Phoo Action.

But I also found this:

Hot off the heels of the latest announcements in Germany and England, we can confirm that Monkey: Journey to the West will now be coming Stateside! The opera will run for an epic 17 dates as part of the annual Spoleto Festival in Charleson, SC this May and June.

It’s not Gorillaz, but it’s some of the same people doing the music. This is a one in a lifetime chance, but I might not be able to go, since I am supposed to be going to visit my family in May.

Lets hope for another album, then there may be a chance of this! I was rather annoyed when they were on only at Manchester..

They have only show’d up in person on one occasion. unfortunately i wasn’t at that one, but i made it to a video concert before. It just didn’t have the same affect.

They finally made a live debut, but no concerts available at this time… as far as I can tell. I am normally a jazz fanatic, but this is an amazing group.

that video gave me a feeling that was undescribable…
i was dancing and partying to my computer screen like i was at the concert…
i definately have to go see them someday
