Every harem needs a “noted fashion photographer,” right?

I would like to have him photograph me, and I think he would make an interesting addition to my harem.

I like the roles he chooses, and his good-looks do not hurt. He seems like he would be a good conversationalist, and I imagine he would play nicely with his other harem-mates.

In 1993, at the ripe old age of twelve, I received three CDs for my birthday: Nirvana – In Utero, Alice in Chains – Facelift and Pearl Jam – Vs. And such began my love affair with grunge rock and Eddie Vedder.

I have seen Pearl Jam perform countless times, and with every set, I admire them more and more. This is not grounds to add the entire band to my collection of men, though. For me, its Eddie Vedder who steals the show.

My favorite live moment involved a very cold show at Alpine Valley, WI in October of 2000. If memory serves me correctly, the not only did three encores, but Eddie brought out a few bottles of wine and shared them with nearby members of the audience. My brother and I were not close enough to partake in it, but we did rock out for the entire show and jumped around enough to stave off the frostbite.

My harem’s resident badass. Samuel L Jackson deserves a spot in my harem because he’s cool, he’s an accomplished actor, and he seems like he would have good stories.

Oh yeah, and he did Snakes on a Plane, which while horrible, cracked my shit up.

I’ve always had a thing for Desi guys, and Kal Penn furthered this when I first saw him in Harold & Kumar go to White Castle. I typically don’t like what I consider to be stupid comedies, but this one did it for me, and I have to admit that the attractive Asian males helped.

From what I have read about him, Kal Penn seems like a cool guy. I liked him on House, in the Harold & Kumar movies, and in the Namesake.

And funnily enough, my sister-in-law thinks he bears a striking resemblance to my husband.. if not for the two-day age difference, they could be twins.

This man had me hooked on his words by age seven, and twenty years later, I have not yet outgrown him.

His sense of adventure, his wordcraft, and his melancholic aura all lead to his being placed in my harem.

Another girlhood crush.. he seems like a genuinely nice guy, and I love his music, especially with him on drums.

I am happy that we used a Foo Fighter’s song as our recessional on our wedding day.

He’s one of the first males I remember crushing on. What little girl doesn’t love an outdoorsy guy who has a way with words. And seeing that he lived in a trailer he had outfitted to suit his own needs, in Alaska of all places, also struck a cord with me. From 1990 on, Chris-in-the-Morning has had a special place in my day dream world, and should also then, have a place in my harem.

There’s something very sexy about a totally capable man who keeps his cool in all sorts of situations, speaks many languages, and looks good in a uniform.

And his one-liners on The Unit never failed to crack me up, even if they were not intended to be comical.

Because I find him devastatingly good-looking and have enjoyed a number of his movies. The accent does not hurt either.
