I have hunched shoulders. I want to stand up straighter. Anybody know any workouts to strengthen upper back muscles?

How I did it: I went to band camp, and there we do marching. Marching really strengthened my back muscles, and even though it was so painful for those 5 days, I automatically stand up straight now! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Went to the chiropractor for several weeks to fix my shoulder pain. Made a conscious effort to push my shoulders back and put my head up when I walked. Got more sleep Read how I did it…

Now that I am not so terribly tired and the chiropractor has worked considerably on my shoulder I am finding it easier to stand up straight. :)

I’m doing this the old fashioned way- string on the finger, everytime I look @ the string I stand up straight.
I got this ability! again after a Zen class. It feels much better if you stand up straight. It raises your self-confidence and makes the others behave you better, because then they believe that you believe yourself. If I continue standing up straight I feel more happy.
I’m starting to become more aware of this at work. Whenever I realize I’m sitting like a hunchback, I correct myself. At least for a minute. It’s a start!
I am now 23 and still cannot stand up straight. I do presentation competitions and everybody says I present extremely well. Everybody also says the thing I need to work on is, guess what, standing up straight!
I make a real effort to suck the gut in, pull the butt up and throw the shoulders back when walking. Wow! It’s an effort but I like it.
