I think this would be a good year to make this trip. I will get some details for reservations this month.

I started at Lake Louise, but it was icy at the time and I fell so many times, and bruised myself badly. About 2 years later I found myself at Whistler and the conditions were slushy, but still boardable. As it was difficult to fall and hurt myself in slush, I got confident, and became a fast boarder. I went with a group of friends of different levels – there’s something there for everybody. We stayed at the English Bay Hotel in Vancouver before driving up, and found a nice condo-style apartment with a real flame fire for a good price – but for a while, we couldn’t find any vacancies, so it might be risky to not book anywhere.
Wow, absolutely amazing. The mountains are huge and the snow conditions are so good.
I spent a winter and a summer in Whistler and boy was it a blast. I worked on the mountain which got me a free seasons pass and a place to stay. The rent was expensive and I shared a room with three other guys in a house with 11 people. It was a total blast but for a vacation it is expensive… A lift pass is over 60 bucks a day but man the riding is priceless!!!
