get a Ph. D.

I’m still working on my BS but I’d love to be a Ph. D.

I’m sick of hearing about how Psychology is everyone’s major when they don’t know what else to do. I’m sick of hearing that I picked it because I’m a girl.

I want to DO this. I don’t want to just get a BA and then flounder around doing whatever for the rest of my life. I’m not doing it because it’s easy or because it’s fun or because I’ve already got credits in it because of AP Psych in high school.

I’m going all the way.

I want to be a historian. One that isn’t poor or lacking in knowledge. And honestly, I don’t care who says this is a dead end thing to do. I’ll get the career I want, damnit!

I just have to get started, is all. Kind of interesting to think about getting a Ph D when you haven’t even completed any college yet. But I’ll do it.
