    in a cynical, jaded world, sometimes you just have to let go 3 years ago

    It is OK to take the higher road—to not assume that someone is deliberately trying to wrong you. Whether someone cuts you in a line, or cuts you off while driving, or takes the last X that was available. Its not easy, but purposefully giving the benefit of the doubt, cutting people some slack, assuming that most people have good intentions feels much better than constant defense. I want to keep feeling good, so I am going to try to assume nothing but positive things about people, unless I am proven wrong.
