fuchi_Lou Slow down for a minute. You might realize that your in it.
The most i had ever ran was 10 miles. Today i went swimming and felt very good. I was planning on only running 3.3. Then i figured what the heck how about 6.6. I felt so good after the second lap its there that i decided i was going to complete the half marathon. It was interesting the last lap was tough. My arms were killing me and the back of my ankles were pretty sore. In the end i made it through.
So, I am someone who runs, but I am not a runner. In my mid-30’s and naturally thin, it’s easy for me to run, but usually only a couple of miles. I would like to be more intentional with my running. I have run a 5k, but would like to run a 10k and then a half marathon, just to give me something to work toward and enforce some discipline.
is my first attempt at running a half marathon in Taupo – North Island of New Zealand. I wanted to do one before I reach 50 and that just happens to be two days after the race. Hopefully I’ll be able to tick I’VE DONE THIS next week.
