nibtastic has a brimful of asha
I had the unfortunate luck of living with voice majors at one point in my academic career. They kind of squashed the desire to sing in the shower after telling me I made their ears bleed.
I want to be able to sing in public without being ashamed and embarrassed. I’m not asking to be an American Idol. Just have an average, on-pitch, on-key singing voice.
... and cleared the bar we were in!!! We have a cool thing called bandiokee which is karioke with a live band – awesome fun!!!! THink I’ll learn to sing before I do that again!!! THere were three of us who sang brown eyed girl and the place literally did clear!!!!
I have done this since i was born, i have always been a little performer lol… i love singing its what i want 2 be when i am older LOL!!!!
I was a member of a women’s a cappella chorus for 13 years. I learned proper vocal technique, choreography, stage presence. Got to sing in venues all over the US and Canada. Won 4 international championships. Look for a Sweet Adelines or Harmony Inc. chorus in your area. You won’t regret it.
well im 14 and there was a concert at our school yesterday and i wish wish wish that id have asked if i could sing something, (i played the piano in it thought) (YAY) :( im really kickin my self now though. well i have decided to get singing lessons and then sing in next years concert, if they decide to put one on anyway :)
I’ve sung in a few contests, and with groups and ensembles in concert. With one of those groups, I was the main soloist, so I got to sing for most of the songs, usually as a solo. Basically, if you want to sing onstage, try and find a group or something, and contests are always good, because not only will you maybe get to sing on stage, but you could win prizes, and will probably be able to improve your sining with judges comments and watching the other competitors.
This bums me out so much! I’ve always been horrible at speaking infront of people. I know that I need to get use to singing and speaking infront of people but I just can’t help it. I’m in our church choir and I have a burning passion for singing, my goal has always to get one of the many solos that come up. So far I’ve chickened out of tryin out for ALL of them. It’s really depressing. What also is very important that I do this is because my friend is starting a band and wants me to be the lead singer. Ut oh, what now?
Hi, My name is Mikki and I am on American Idol Underground. You may have of me before. I have some concerts. I have one today actually! I am going to get my own website! YAY! Okay this is some advice…
1. Sing your best.
2. Smile (-:
3. Wave to the crowd.
4. Point at the people in the crowd while singing.
5. BE YOURSELF!
Ask for advice: Get help from people who've accomplished this goal
