I have a lot of experience with Ebay. A few years ago when I seemingly had more free time, I used to sell quite a bit using the Ebay website. But I haven’t sold anything on Ebay in the last 3-4 years. Since I know I will be completing a few more goals this year, I think this is a good goal to have and I need to do this anyway to get my home ready for when I get married.

After intending to for years, I finally made my first listing on eBay. Ended up putting up three listings. I am so proud of myself! Feel like now that I’ve finally taken that first step it’ll be easier from now on. Have lots more to list, but my camera ran out of power. But I made a good start. I just shipped out my first two ebay orders. It was…interesting.

One item sold with absolutely no problems. The auction received 2 bids and ended at $15.50 plus s&h. The seller paid quickly. It was great!

The other auction didn’t go so well. It recieved about 14 bids and ended at $100.00 plus s&h. Then I recieved a message from the winning bidder stating that they didn’t want to pay. After several days & messages, a botched second chance offer (can’t do that with a new account. should have used my old buyer account!), and an unpaid item case…we received payment! And another message asking for faster shipping…?

Unfortunately for me, paypal is being slow and we can’t touch the money for at least a week…probably more. And we will probably end up having to contact customer service. sigh But, I SOLD SOMETHING ON EBAY! 17 months ago
