My older sister went on a road trip with two of her good friends and our three dogs in her Subaru from New York to Telluride as a celebration of their graduation from high school. She left the day after she graduated and got there right in time for Bluegrass. She camped in Town Park with all the hicks, hippies, and locals (the latter two groups often overlapping). She got to see one of our favorite musicians, Jackie Greene. She also discovered the Avett Brothers there, now one of my favorites. I can’t wait until I’m a senior so I don’t have to hang around here and take finals, and I can go drive out there. 5 years ago
