Live in Hawaii for 2 years

I lived in Hawaii from May 1990 through Jan. 1994. Beautiful weather all year round. Lot’s of employment in the service sector. Hawaii”s number one industry is tourism, of course. They have a saying there; If you don’t get wet, you might as well be in Cleveland!” Oahu, where Honolulu is, is a fairly small island, it can be driven all the way around in about two and one half hours. Local Hawaiians are often unfriendly to caucasians (haoles). Once your’e there, your’e there. Plane ride to California is $1000+, five hour ride. But, the positives outweigh the negatives.
