Three years...
It broke after three years (with about a year or two of heavy use).
The wiring that connected the tablet to the computer somehow got mangled and just broke off. It may have been because of the many times I have dropped it. Who knows.
I’m disappointed since I just bought a replacement pen ($50) but alas that’s life. I’m hoping the pen works on my new tablet though (at least I’d have a sub pen).
I had a Graphire3… now switching to a Wacom Bamboo. It’s about the same size (4×6). Bought it at the Apple Store for about $90 CDN. Hoping this one lasts as long as the last one.

Wacom tablets are awesome. I had a cheap Aiptek before, it couldn’t even compare to how smooth and precise the Wacom is. Definitely worth it to go for the Intuos.

Definitely worth it. Comes in handy for everything I do. Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut etc. I’ve had it over two years now.

Yay! I finally got a tablet! It’s an Intuos 2, and I love it. I can draw right in to photoshop, which is awesome. Or paint, but photoshop is a million times better than that paint crap. :)

At Last I have it, It’s A4 size. It’s quite easy to use and works perfect with Photoshop and Corel Painter :)

Its amazing, I still have a lot to learn about it but its really fun and easy to use. The preaure bit of the pen is very cool and graphics are much easier.

I just ordered mine a few days ago off of Amazon, $172, 6×8 Graphire tablet. It should be here in a few days.
I use photoshop all the time and I make tons of things on my laptop with a trackpad it takes forever and if you mess us you have to do everything over. I can’t wait to get my hands on this..

..and I love it! I own a 12×18 Wacom Intuos tablet (i got it on eBay for $107) I’ve made so much art with it, it’s incredible. I remember at first it was hard to get used to, but after a day of just messing around I got the hang of it, and now painting, making vectors and manipulating photos is a million times easier.
Although I definately encourage learning to use a mouse first… I created loads of art with just a crappy mouse and no mouse pad, and it really helped me learn tons of tricks and shortcuts that really come in handy with my love tablet.
rock on. :9
