We did some gaming last Wednesday with some dear friends who’ve moved back to the area. It’s a GURPS game set in the near future; think Blade Runner as an inspiration. Still writing up my character…I’m going to consider this done once that happens and I’m back at it!
People doing this are also doing these things:

Lord, but I’m a sad, strange little boy. I got another idea for a game; essentially, it’s Torchwood, using Baltimore as a location. I think I could tie in the death of Edgar Allen Poe with an invented extradimensional happening and use that as the point where things began to “diverge”...it’d be based in modern day, and whatever happened then is now happening again, and the characters would be specialized paranormal investigators, trying to figure out what happened – and is happening…
I do tend to end up GMing an awful lot…but I also just can’t stop coming up with ideas. Of course, it’s been so long that at this rate, doing either would be most welcome.
Have 7 people interested, and a tentative time to meet and figure out which game and generate characters… Of course, our location fell through… :(
One of my friends had an AWESOME idea for a game to run, but trying to schedule something will be a nightmare…
My task for today is to mail everyone I’ve ‘pinged’ about this recently and see who’s really up for it.
I’m in a play by e-mail. It’s enough to keep me going, but I really want a f-t-f game.
People do keep saying, “You’ve been saying that for months!” They’re getting a bit exasperated with me…gee, can’t figure why. Perhaps after the play I’ll see about running something, particularly since my lovely wife is now “available”.
Been gaming again for a few months. Started in a Shadowrun game that didn’t really go anywhere, but we shifted over to a bizarre D&D campaign that I’m loving… even if my character has accidentally become a whore. She’s making a good profit!! She’s a cleric of Olidamarra who, for weeks, successfully fooled the group into believing she was a rogue. A bad rogue, mind you, but a rogue all the same. Had to do some healing this last session though. Cover’s blown. Ah well.
I’m working on designing my own game to run, one that’s been in my head for a while. And one of the guys is planning on doing a reworked version of his best (and my favorite) campaign.
Gaming has so been good lately. I’m considering this one done.
I played pen and paper RPG since my high scool ( I was almost 16 ). I stoped because of seeing less or loosing friends I had in high.
So I need to find a club near I live and even propose to master rifts for those who don’t read english. There’s not much like this, but it’s a system that need a real undersanding and good practice.
So I’ll see this after getting a job and if I have time left.
