be valedictorian

This is something that I really want. I’m honestly tired of being told that I’ll never amount to anything… and I know that I can do this… It’s going to def. be hard, and I’m going to have to work harder for the next 3 years, but this is something I want… Wish me luck!! =]

I’m so glad I stuck to it this year because AP Calculus AB really helped my GPA. :)

Now I’ve got to come up with a speech and graduation is 3 weeks away. Yikes! I’m trying to brainstorm how to make my speech memorable.

I can’t celebrate just yet, though. I still have to keep up my ranking for my official transcript (for scholarships).

i’m absolutely terrified i won’t get this.

Just have to hold on twelve more weeks!

Start back at school next month. Last year I failed almost everything (As opposed to year previous where I was at the top in an acccelerated learning program for gifted kids) mainstream just doesn’t interest me. So when I start back I really want to buckle down and get that class valedictorian title. Luckily for me my year level isn’t that academically focused so I only have competition from about 4 other people (at least that I know of) I am so ready to go

yea…im really not that smart..i kinda got a culture shock in high school where i realized that im not the msartest person in every class anymore. Oh well. life is still worth living.

until ranking is determined. my school eliminated ranking the top 10% and only reports rank for the valedictorian and salutatorian now. i’m having a rough year so i’m hoping my grades can stay where they are…

Senior year, almost at the end of the fall/winter semester. The valedictorian will be determined in February. My grades in AP Calc (BC!) and AP Chem are frightening me. Half of Second-Ranked Girl’s classes are easy 100s. It would be such a shame to make it this far and fall to second, third, maybe fourth. :(

I am 0.02 points away from beating my opponent! Better REALLY buckle down this year.

I was valedictorian because of a technicality in my GPA. I was the only girl along with four guys. Let me tell you, I was BOSS up on that stage giving my speech. I basically got up and told everyone the way my high school really was.
Totally worth all the ass kicking I received working up to it for four years, just for those few minutes of having everyone listen to me with horrified looks on their faces.
My speech was pretty brash but it was the only one anyone remembered at graduation!
