Talk to strangers everyday

I work at a hotel and I’ve met some really interesting people! For example today I met a gentleman who grew up in New York city, was drafted into the military, was sent to Vietnam then spent about 25years in Alaska on a gold expedition moving his way through to California and then on to searching the southwest where he ended up in Albuquerque where he met his new lady friend. He was a darling man! Now that I think of it I never got his name but we shared a few laughs and a lot of smiles. I’ve met movie stars, generals of foreign militaries, and many federal agents of our country. I’ve learned Swahili words from soldiers visiting from Africa, Arabic phrases from Egyptian troops, and Portuguese necessities from a Brazilian family. I have had fun talking to strangers everyday.

I work in a call centre. Can’t help talking to strangers every day when you do that!
