I sent 6 small care packages to people who hosted me when I was couchsurfing. Each of them contained some Ritter Sport dark chocolate, a small bag of German hot chocolate powder with marzipan, Fishermans’ Friend’s menthols, fruity fizz, some radies seeds (which are illegal to import in some places), and a plain Moleskine journal with a bookcrossing number and a link to an online art experiment.

I sent a package to my boyfriend in Germany. It contained a variety of different chocolates, photographs, a Tom Robbins book, and buttermilk pancake mix.
A little over a week ago, I sent a package to my friend Forest. It contained a bright green t-shirt, vegan dark chocolate, and a magnet made from recycled computer parts—something I picked up in Helsinki.
