simon got 4 walks yesterday, totalling about 45 minutes worth of roaming time. he was really funny, any time i tried to take him back towards the house and he wasn’t ready to go back, he would pull on the leash and veer off onto a side block, just to let me know he still had things he needed to check out. so cute!
whenever i’m between jobs i really try to make an effort to give him additional walking time. he loves it so much, and how can it be bad for me to make sure he gets what makes him happy, especially when it’s exercise?

soulguru is so happy she has found her biological sister!
It’s disappointing but I’m no longer in a position to finish this goal. Back to full time work. I will have to leave the house early morning and won’t return till mid evening. It’s a long time since I’ve done full time and have to ensure I don’t burn myself out.Lee will be at home with Rocky all day because he works nights and can do the long walks during the day.
I will on the other hand, walk Rocky at the weekends with Lee.:(

I love my dog to bits but everything else seems to take over my time. Made a conscious effort to walk the long way to the woods today and stopped at pub for a drink on way back. Rocky gets lots of attention when he goes out so I found myself conversing with different couples in the pub who wanted to know more about him. So… I enjoyed the fresh air, the company, don’t think I’d laughed as much for so long, a refreshing shandy..or two and a destressing time all round.

so cold, so busy. simon’s not really having me these days, especially these last, very busy, two weeks. i walk him in the morning, then leave for work and don’t come back until latelatelate- i make him wait 9 to 12+ hours for his next walk (!) and then only take him out for a quickie. i also haven’t been spending as much time with him as he needs. poor poopoodog.
i’m a much better dogmother on the weekends. he needs more, and longer walks in order to keep his spirits up. he lives for walks and dog biscuits and i need to make sure he’s happy. i can’t wait for spring.

When it is 6 degrees outside it is rather hard to get the morivation to get out and walk your dog. She hates the cold anyhow, but as soon as the weather warms up, I will be taking her out on a stroll a little more often, she deserves it because she is such an amazing creature and I love her with everything that I am.

Pharaoh and Me
Pharaoh is my 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback, she is totally beautful and so well behaved that I should be walking her more often because she enjoys it so much. I look at her as though she is a gift in my life that has given me so much joy and love that I should be giving back to her what she has given to me, if that’s even possible! Plus she loves to “go” anywhere

My baby loves to walk, and I owe it to her! She’s the smartest and sweetest German Shepherd I’ve ever been around.

Arktoi is totally revamping her list.
Blessed with unexpected good weather, Leo and I walked for over an hour yesterday. When we got home, I gave him a treat, and he sprawled on the kitchen floor with his tail thumping. This was his first long walk since his surgery, and he did really well. He was one happy pup. =^)

She love to run with my bike or skates. I walk her on foot and she just never poops out. I think she’ll need to be taken for more runs than walks. Soo much energy. Cesar said a doggie pack might help too, give them a job to do- more purpose. Either way, she needs to get out once I get over the flu.
