I worked at Wal-Mart. It was a nightmare. I lost a baby trying to pull pallets and work long hours on my feet. I had to work thinking I would have a child to feed…

Haven’t spent any money in ASDA for months and months. Unfortunately, this means TESCO get my cash instead, but it’s a start. I have been buying milk and other little things from the corner shop nearby. Which is a small compromise on my walking targets, but hey.

I see people bitch about walmart all the time saying they pay terrible, treat their employees like shit and are a terrible employee.

Don’t fuckin work there if you don’t like it. No one forces you to take a job.

BUT, BUT.. I HEARD THEY R GIVIN PEOPLE WITH NO HEALTH INSURANCE PRESCRIPTIONS FOR BUCKS. NOW IF THIS IS TRUE, I MAY HAVE TO RENIG. YUP THEY MAY LEAVE MY BOMB A CORPORATION LIST.

I do not shop at WalMart, nor will I in the future (no matter how many organics they sell). I will continue to educate people about WalMart and the reason for my decision not to shop at WalMart.

You ruin lives. You ruined mine. You are dishonest and underhanded and you never do a good deed without calculating how WalMart is going to benefit from it. Donate money? Sure, if the publicity’s right. Donate services? Sure, if it will get your name in the news. Only as long as it makes BorgMart look good.

You cut prices? Well, bollocks! You cut prices by cutting wages and shorting your staff help. You expect one to do the work of five. you only enforce policies if it will make you look good. The law only applies to WalMart when WalMart gets caught breaking the law, otherwise you break laws as you see fit. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. People who work for you need two jobs to get by because you don’t pay squat for everything you ask and what’s worse, they need to shop there too because you don’t pay squat.
