How to surfing

 "Make sure you start off on a 12 foot board. So much easier!"
How I did it: I went to Waikiki and took lessons. I also went out on my own for a while and suggest starting with lessons. You have to get up by yourself but it is really helpful to go with someone who knows the breaks and can put you in a position to catch the waves. I managed to get up on my own several times on a 12 foot board but couldn't get past my knees on the 8 foot board I tried. |

How I did it: Welll.... find yourself an ocean.Then get a big surfboard.Get some little waves, preferably without stuff to break the board or youself on.Get someone in the water with you to tell you what to do.Lay on the board. oh god I want to surf!
I did it for the first time 4 months ago, but haven’t been able to do it since. Belgium is not a surfers paradise U know .. winter’s kicking in so it looks like I won’t be getting some soon .. :(
