I can’t take one step in my bedroom anymore without stepping on a book. I think I’ve got around 50 total now, so it might be a good time to buy a shelf and get them organized.
How to buy a bookshelf
How I did it: I was lucky - there was one left for me. So I bought it and it's going to be delivered to me in 1½ weeks. The price was 1/3 of the normal price. It's wood. I need to put it together myself but I can do that.

I actually put in a request with my grandfather who use to do carpentry for a living. I requested a hand-made bookshelf for my birthday this past October. He came through and built me a very beautiful bookshelf with his own hands. He left some work up to me….I still have to stain it to match my furniture. So maybe I didn’t buy one, but now I have one. Thank goodness.
I have 10 boxes of books at my mom’s house and I really need to get them out of there. I have a feeling I am going to be stuck going to IKEA if I don’t find anything decent on CL.
I have tons of books that will never see the light of day unless I get them unpacked. They are still packed in the same boxes I put them in almost a year ago when I moved into my present apartment. Purchasing the bookshelf isn’t the only problem….I am kind of limited on space too.
