visit home more often

Yesssss. Booked to go home in May for 4 days. Work has been hectic as always so have struggled, but still optimistic about meeting my target of 5 trips this year. On the up side I have met my brother for a weekend in Dublin and my mum has been over to see me already so feeling pretty positive about this goal.

My current job involves a lot of travel and this has meant I haven’t got home as often as I would like. That said, I’m going back home to Northern Ireland for 5.5 days over the Xmas period and I can’t wait.

It’s not a great thing only seeing your family periodically and noticing the changes in them and seeing them get older between visits, so I am determined to see them more next year. My target for next year is at least 5 trips home, as well as having my family over to visit more and seeing my brother as much as I can. Although, if I win the lottery I’ll be buying a summer home there and taking them all on holiday :O)

Think I made it home 3 times last year. So, we’ll shoot for four times this year. Jan, Apr, Jul, Nov, and Dec (make up/bonus).
