I wish I could do something that will make the others think that nothing is impossible. I want to travel in a sustainable manner. Sailing is a part of me and anytime I’m on the salty waters, I feel I’m a different person. It’s hard to explain why I will sail across the ocean but I am sure I want to do it and I know this will change my life. At least I will have enough time to think about my future and how to sustain good things on this planet. Does it sound silly? not for me.

It would be great to build a boat and live on it for a while. Who knows when and I think I would feel guilty if I did take the time but I can always dream!

spending days without seeing land… being rocked to sleep each night… being surrounded by gorgeous saphire waters… for the period that you are sailing, nothing exists other than you, the sky, and the sea… All I want is to live at sea now.

It’s not that hard to get on sailing yards to cross e.g the Atlantic. And surpricingly Captains are more concerned with your social skills and reliability than your sailing skills. (That said, it is an advantage if you know how to sail).
