I’ve been so busy this year, I’ve had hardly any time to read-exams. But now I’ve got until September to read all the books I have(on and not on my shelf.)

I finished Brave New World a few days ago. I wasn’t really that into it UNTIL the last three or four chapters, which totally made the whole thing worth reading. haha after i finished, i had to go read a couple childrens books just to cheer myself up. Anyhow…now moving on to a small book called “Love and Friendship” which is a colletion of short stories by Jane Austen…stuff she wrote as precurssors to her famous novels. :)
finished Kon-Tiki (AMAZING) so now i’m on to Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.
I am currently reading Kon-Tiki by Thor Heyerdahl. It is one of the COOLEST books i have ever read. i highly reccomend it.
i LOVE books. i can spend hours perusing the shelves of a bookstore. but i find that i buy these treasures and never get around to reading them before i buy more. makes no sense! i have committed myself to actually reading the unread portion of my huge ikea bookshelf and trading in the ones that i care not to own afterwards. :)
Azuza Street: The Life and Work Of William J. Seymour
A very Intresting look at the man who was at the forefront of the Azuza Street Revival.
Verses of Virtue: I happend to like some of the poetry, and i wrote notes in it, so if i ever flip back thru i can see what touched me.
Daughters Of Destiny: A collection of poems and short stories about women, and some were amazing, i can not fathom having to do what some of them did.
Beautiful Girlhood: I really wish i had read this when i was younger, but i wasnt ready then and i was now. I really enjoyed some of the perspectives.
Azuza Street: It reinforced for me how vital prayer and humility are. This was such an encouraging/stimulating/ convicting read.
Prayer Of Jabez: another book on prayer. I needed this now. it was so great. I have definatly been encouraged in my prayer life
I’m over half way through Beautiful Girlhood. That book has been on my shelf forever. I’ve found that if you read 3 chapters it wont take forever and progress will be made.
