I have some Bulgarian friends (and a Bulgarian guy that I really like hehe) so I want to understand them better and be able to speak with them. Plus, i can speak Russian, so it will be much more easier to learn Bulgarian. And I just like learning languages. I want to know as much as possible.
I was in a relationship with a bulgarian guy, and I lived there for 3months, he bought me a course for me to learn it, so now when im bored and study it just because I like it :)
Tri needs to make an effort. Seriously.
I haven’t been studying the language regularly like I wanted to, I need to do so if I want to accomplish my goal of someday becoming proficient enough in the language so I can travel to Bulgaria. So I’ll try to schedule study time into my life every day from now on.

Why do you want to learn Bulgarian if you don’t know English very well yet?
And if you know English very well, why would you learn Bulgarian?
I think everyone should learn only English, and here’s why:

My husband and I are adopting a little girl from Bulgaria. I want to learn so that when we travel to get her, I’m not completely lost. And, because I want her to continue to learn and know her native language.

I tried learning the Bulgarian language online but it was hard due to the fact that I get distracted so easily with other things… and that the Internet has a tendency to not want to work when the weather is bad. I finally just bought a language course on Amazon (it arrived last week) and intend to study the language more regularly!
I have Bulgarian relatives that don’t even know I exist it made me become interested in this lanugage and I love it! :D
