I want to get up early early every morning and water plants

In the heat of the summer I want to also water in the after noon.

most days I want to weed.

Every other plant in my little garden is doing great…except for my basil and oregano!!! If ANYONE HAS ADVICE PLEASE HELP!!! I have moved them from sun to shade to shade to sun, i have watered, not watered as much, changed food, changed soil!!!! They are looking so wilty and sad!

THE SPROUTS HAVE …well…SPROUTED!!!!

My cilantro plant has taken off like a weed and is trying to steal some of the sun from my thyme by stretching its little leafy tendrils over the other plant. I snipped them back HAHA! TAKE THAT! and added it to my cajun shrimp salad today…a delicious victory.

I picked up some plants this weekend along with some wonderful organic soil. Thusly, I have; 2 strawberry plants, 1 cilantro, 1 rosemary, 1 curled parsley, and 1 thyme. I also am cultivating 12 each of these baby plants; spinach, green beans, turnips, crooked neck squash, and zucchini. Hopefully on Wednesday I will pick up some bell peppers, tomatoes, and some flowers (I love delphiniums and snapdragons…maybe some pansies are in order as well.) SO HAPPY!!!

Spring is well under way and we just moved to the country to get a bigger and better garden, we ended up with 2,700 sq metres and Oh My, I didn’t realise how much hard work gardening was – I had a terrace garden before!!

I could keep going because the list is endless but it is so much fun!

this weekend I cleaned out the gutters in the front of the house, and then got all of the leaves out of the shrubs below. Next time I need to remember to wear long sleeves as my arms got all scratched up.
