How I did it: Practice and more practice also not letting my nerves get the best of me. I thought positive things, work hard and parallel parked perfectly. I made sure I followed the instructions talked with my teacher, drove well, handle my self well and did everything the way I was suppose too. Lessons & tips: be calm and don't except them to be nice or that you will get you license the first time. Resources: going out with my instructor the day before and having her calm me down before the test. |

I really feel hopeless! Ive been tryin for 3 years to have my license, but i keep failing the stupid exam on the road…I absolutely HATE driving cuz there are too many things to be aware of and u need to have your eyes evrywhere…its very stressful for me but anyway i dont have a choice but to have that license cuz im sick of taking the bus!

I passed the test, got all the certificates and paperwork and now all i need to do is hand it all in. Only problem being i need my passport and birth certificate…and i can only find my passport!!!
Anyone got any spare birth certs lying around???

well ill be 21 in june and still have no licence…
Not because im lazy, ive just had medical ‘stuff’ and wasnt/arent allowed too..
I plan to get it by Feb 2010!
(cos i need to do 120hrs).. i havent done any and if i do 1hr a day i could have it in 4 months, but realistically that isnt very realistic..
so0o.. ive given myself quite a few months…
Better get onto it!! xx

Heeyyy , I got my probatory licence 3 monts ago. and now im already driving a car with sumone next to me! Hopefully in march ill get my licence!

Ive been on taking driving lessons and bloody hell they are expensive! Driving auto through the city for the first time was surprisingly easy. All I need is just to practice and Ill be able to go for my P’s in a few months hopefully!

Last night I was talking to a man who was completely shocked, I’d say almost appalled, that I was 22 and didn’t drive. I bit my tongue before I pointed out that he was 31, jobless and lived with his folks… sometimes peoples priorities really amaze me.
Getting my licence has been something that really hasn’t been very important to me before. I concentrated on getting on my feet, becoming independant both financially and emotionally and concentrated on furthuring my education… where does learning to drive fit into all that?
Plus We have pretty good public transport here in Melbourne, it’s bad for the environment and I get quite nervous in cars, so whats the point?
Having said this, I do believe I should get my licence so I have the option to drive. I just must not let myself become the type of person who relies on their car all the time.
