Spring has a way of reminding me of this goal. Perhaps it’s the warmer weather and realizing I don’t look exactly as I’d like in Summer clothing and the dreaded bathing suit. I feel ready to take this goal more seriously…not only by increasing my level of activity but also in paying more attention to the foods I put in my body. I’ve been doing a lot of reading on raw foods and want to incorporate more raw fruits, veggies and nuts into my meals. Most importantly, I want to have more clarity around how my body feels when digesting different foods. Our bodies really do know what we need most. It’s in taking time to truly notice than I can make the necessary changes that will help me move forward on this path.

I’m defintely not at my ideal level, but have been walking most days at lunch. It’s amazing how much better I feel when I make the time to get out there. Not only does it break up my work days, but I get a chance to center and be one with nature. I come back with a new focus and am overall more productive. It also encourages me to drink more water…as I carry my water bottle with me as I walk. I know this isn’t the only things I’ll need to do in order to achieve the desired results, but a good start!
