See my little girls have a relationship with Christ

We were talking a few weeks ago at the table and Natalie was asking about how she could make sure that she could see Grammy and Papa in heaven. I started sharing with her about how you get to heaven to be with Jesus and what he did for us (stuff we’ve said repeatedly).

I asked her pointedly, “do you believe that you do what is wrong in God’s eyes, that you disobey God when you are selfish, or when you are angry, or when you take things away from Amy?” she said yes.

I said, “do you believe that Jesus died on the cross to make your relationship with God right, so that you could be with God forever?” yes…

“do you want to try to be like Jesus and to follow him by doing what he did and trying to treat others like he did?” yes…

I said, “then Natalie that means that Jesus forgives you and you can be with him in heaven and can be with grammy and papa too, and mommmy and daddy and grandma and grandpa…

It was really precious and very sweet.

This is by far the most important thing on this list!

On Easter my 3 year old was talking about how “Jesus died on the cross for the world and when they looked in the tomb, he was gone! Hosanna!” The next day she prayed that night, “Dear Jesus, thank you for Mommy, Daddy, Amy, bubbles, and Jesus dying on the cross.” So precious. My husband and I pray daily that our girls will come to know our Savior and live passionately for Him.
