I want an old truck 15 months ago

I have a burning desire to build a late 30’s Dodge or Plymouth truck into a roadster. Anyone got an old one laying around they want to donate? I’ll treat her good – I promise. :)

I would also be happy with just making my current ‘04 get into the 10’s in the quarter mile

A ‘69 Mustang Fastback with a 428 SCJ SOHC The rarest ford big block ever made….but what a badass

build it. 3 years ago

I just want the time and money to get started on some kind of build. I am not in a huge hurry either. I would like to use as much original stuff as possible, so swap meets and junk yards will be a must. I like pre- 40’s trucks and cars. A 4 door tudor would be awesome, that way my wife and kids could always ride with me. I would also like to build a daily driver coupe with modern inline 4 engine and auto transmission, A/C, heat, all the nice stuff to make it an easy driver, but have the individuality of a hot rod. I have a 1973 Bug that I drive daily in the summer/spring/fall here in Colorado, it is a rough ride, but I love the way it sounds and looks. Satin black, lowered, and loud! I already have a ton of experience with cars, and just love the hobby, can’t wait to do more with American Iron. Later.

I would like to roll up to Paso Rables Car Show next year with a bad ass hot rod!

I know I can do this 4 years ago

If you count the cars my girlfriend has that I am working on I have 4 project cars right now. It’s so frustrating to buy one part for one car one month, another part for another one the next month. It seems like I’ll never get any of them done. I’ve bought so many parts at the local Mazda dealership that I get letters from them telling me how thier improved product line can help me meet my customer’s needs. At least I get a commercial discount and I save on the labor doing myself. Plus few things are cooler than an impact wrench. If anyone has advice on getting into rodding or just want to talk cars feel free.
