I haven’t been to Mae Phim since we moved offices, so I don’t think this’ll happen. When I go again I’ll probably just get my usual #21. 6 years ago

today i’m eating #22, pad kee mao. it’s very tasty. and today was the first time i’ve ordered 3-stars on pupose. i’m enjoying the extra kick. 6 years ago
Yes, it had baby corn, as well as mushrooms, onions, and bamboo shoots. Nice mix of textures, slightly garlicky.

Cabbage, bean sprouts, green onions, broccoli, and carrots. Nice variety of vegetables (cabbage is one of my favorite underrated vegetables), but the sauce was not that interesting. 7 years ago
Today I got “Today’s Special”—asparagus, mushrooms, and carrots with chicken. Does it count as a menu item if it’s not on the menu? And what about all of the Today’s Specials that I might have missed? 7 years ago
I made a list to track your completion:

I love ginger, and this one had plenty of shredded fresh ginger. The mushrooms are good too. The sauce is pretty similar to the hot/salty/garlicky sauce on the #5 and #21.

Chicken in yellow curry with cashews and the standard onions and red and green peppers. A little on the sweet side for me.

I’ve been known to throw in the following:
My “one and done” list:
The standard order for the Jobster office, I get this probably 1 out of every 5 times I visit. I prefer it 2 star, though I’ve been known to accidentally ingest up to 4 stars worth of panang. Incidentally, this didn’t always used to have its own menu item. We would go “off menu” and get #8 (Panang Beef) with Chicken. 7 years ago
There was a curry special today, it was taped to the end of the menu board. My carton had “29” written on it, but everybody knows that #29 is Salmon Curry. This curry definitely has chicken. I’m not sure what this means for my goal, but I’m really lost and scared right now.
PS: The special came with a tiny ramekin of cucumber salad. 7 years ago
The #5, Basil Chicken, is actually pretty similar to the #21, except with mushrooms and onions instead of the green beans. The mushrooms, like the green beans, are a good contrast for the spicy sauce (I got it 4*, as usual). And basil is always good.

Today I tried the #1, Garlic Chicken. The chicken was tender and garlicky as advertised, but the broccoli, carrots, cabbage, and celery that went with it were cold and unevenly coated in the gloppy sauce. No competition with the #21…

My usual order is the #21, 4*. Pad Prik Gao. Chicken and green beans in garlicky, spicy sauce, with basil and strips of red and green peppers. We go to Mae Phim about twice a week, and it’s hard not to get #21 every time.

Already eaten:
.1/.2 Garlic Chicken (too gerlicky
.3 Pad Thai (above average)
.4 Chicken Fried Rice (yummy Thai style, not boring Chinese style)
.6 Swimming Rama (my 2nd favorite)
.7 Chicken Curry (above average)
.8 Panang Chicken (my favorite so far)
.9 Tom Kah Kai (awesome soup. Like Pho for Thailand. Better if you dine in) 7 years ago
is pretty much the best thai food ever. There are 30 menu items, but some are the same meal with different meat (e.g. #1 is Garlic Chicken and #2 is Garlic Pork). I’m going to eat them all. 7 years ago
