buy life insurance

So I had an old policy, but recently my wife & I had a baby (yeah!) and I’m realizing I probably need a bigger term life insurance policy. Fortunately, I have several friends who work in the field, but I figured if I put it on here, I’d have more motivation (hint: reminders :-)) to get it done.

Our swab tests came back and we’re all set to get our term life insurance. It will be about 45 per month. So I go on Monday to pay and set up autodraft!! I will feel so much better once this is DONE.

I’m waiting for the agent to call back when the swabs are in to test our health with our saliva. If I don’t hear back early next week I will call him back.

I just called an independent insurance agent. Over the phone he gave me some quotes. My husband & I are gonna go in at the end of the week or early next week. We will get a swab test done that supposedly can tell all these things about our health. I feel better just making the phone call. It took me so long bc I thought we would have to go in and fill out all this paperwork. So I hope in 2 more weeks we will have life insurance!

If you’re married or have kids it’s very important to have enough life insurance. Rates are down and now is a good time to shop around, even if you already have coverage you might find a better deal now.

I applied for life insurance for my husband and I. We have an appointment tomorrow evening for a nurse to come take our blood/urine for testing, and do a general health check-up. I’m not sure how long after that it’ll be before the life insurance is in force…
