Is completely empty right now. For shame! LOL

I think I’m going through a down cycle of drinking wine right now. I’m finishing off a bottle of ice wine I bought a long time ago, but I feel that sweet liquors are more appealing to me right now so the (small) wine rack is full and going to stay that way for a while, until I go through another wine phase.

I bought four bottles last night – three different types from Bogle (Zin, Petite Syrah and Merlot I believe) and House Wine, which I’ve heard good things about – it’s a red blend.
I’m not making a lot of progress toward this goal, though, because I drink a bottle or two a week and only buy a bottle or two a week usually. I either need to drink less or buy more.
Hmmm…what to do…

The freecycle rack, which is much nicer than I thought that it would be.
(Ignore the ugly 1970s fridge, which is mine, but I would like to replace eventually)
I suppose technically I could call this goal completed, but I think I’d be cheating which such small racks.

I’m in the middle of scheduling a freecycle pick up for a 5 bottle wine rack, it’s small but it’s a start and it will get my bottles out from under the sink :P
Eventually I’ll pick that wine rack I want from Sears… All in good time.

I love this book – it’s called The Wine Trials by Robin Goldstein. Lots of great ideas for wines under $15.

I added a Chateau St. Michelle Riesling and a Malbec from Argentina.
Unfortunately, I also opened a different Malbec, so it’s two steps forward and one step back. I need 7 bottles as of today to have a full wine rack.
