    I’ve been briefly to Kyoto twice now and will be making more trips down there when (hopefully) my boyfriend gets into school there in the Spring.

    You won’t be alone in this metropolis, but that’s part of its charm. Excellent people watching. I had a great time touring small, out of the way places to collect hand-made pottery, caligraphy, kimono, and other artsy things. Don’t forget to try the local brews!
