command shift a : deselect everything

option spacebar : activates the handscrolling tool to edit text

command shift click : overrides master pg object for editing

escape (while text cursor is in table cell) : selects entire cell

command shift arrow (back/forth) : decrease or increase size of selected text; add option key for larger increments

command arrow (back/forth) : decrease or increase size of selected pics and images; add option key for larger increments

double click fill or stroke boxes in tools palette : photoshop style colour picker

command option 7 : toggles between paragraph and character attributes modes in control panel

to banish spot colours : in export pdf dialog box, click on output, then the ‘ink manager’ button, and check ‘all spots to process’

shift eyedrop : sample colour from image

shift tab : hides palettes

command option shift 3 : hides unselected items

control e : merge visible
command j : duplicates a layer
command i : invert image
command t : resize/rotate

downloaded the pdf doc. 4 pages worth… wow this goal is loftier than expected.

because the keyboard is far greater than the mouse.

I will start with the programs that I use the most: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Basically, I want to know all the tools, the filters, hidden keys, option keys, etc… anything I can get my hands on!

Command keys are oh so efficient!
