A simple goal that’s for so long time on my list.
One point less to me!

I have two friends who live in other states with birthdays next week. I’m here writing a card for each one and I hope they arrive before their birthday in their hands. I’ll post them this afternoon, before my college class.

I’ve taken a look at google calendar. Apparently, I can make it send me reminder e-mails in advance. This could be my chance to actually remember birthdays in time!
Now I need to feed the calender with the birthday dates. Hm, and I need to find my notes and lists and old calenders to get those dates.

We mailed Dad’s bday card and Mother’s Day cards today. We also mailed a late gift to grandpa…today was actually his birthday. We won’t miss it next year thanks to Google!! 6 years ago

I just started my google calendar with email reminders. Hooray! I have cards ready to go on the table right now for Mother’s Day and upcoming birthdays. I’m so ON this! Now to collect everyone’s birthdays AGAIN…. 6 years ago

I’ve started listing birthdays in my organizer, which is a good start, but I also want to send out cards on holidays other than just Christmas. I bought a pack of valentines to send to family members this year. Now I just have to make sure I mail them on time! 6 years ago

I have found a way that works for me. One of the first emails I got from 12minutes to go was to organise the cards I needed for the month at the end of the previous month. I now have sent off 4 birthday cards and have 2 more ready to send. At the end of this month I will do this again for next month. I now feel like I can do this without getting overwhelmed. Especially if I put reminders on do not forget dates! 6 years ago

Thanks to a link someone posted I remembered to send my cousin an ecard and ring my Mum ontheir birthdays. You can set up reminders to be sent to you in advance of the birthday or other events too. it’s great I don’t have to remember them all any more! Here is the link if anyone is interested

I used to be really good at this, but I think that I have just become really lazy. In fact, I have not remembered a single birthday this year until at least 2 weeks later, which officially gives me the title of worst friend/family member ever. This is it though…I am going to do this. Next birthday is December 3, that gives me a little less than a month to buy a really good card, write a really meaningful message inside and post it. My sister’s birthday was on March 28, and we had her present and card there EARLY! Then my sister-in-law’s birthday was on April 11 and she didn’t get her present and card until April 14. Dangit. Do those cancel each other out? 7 years ago

Yesterday was our Pastor’s birthday. Had it written on my calendar and everything and I totally forgot to send him a card. I guess it’s another funny, “Happy Birthday, I’m kind of dumb” card. ugh. 7 years ago
