refinish the kitchen cabinets

I’m using Minwax WoodSheen rubbing oil stain & finish. The cabinets I’ve finished look nice, so I’m not going to bother sanding or varnishing them. It’s fairly easy, but cleaning and taping around them takes awhile. I just need to put some time into it. The sills, doors, and trim are next.

I’m almost out of excuses! We’re getting new counters in 3 weeks. Maybe then I’ll be ready to start.

This one can wait until spring when I can open a window.

Those cabinets are ugly! They are finished in a terrible fake oak laminate. They make me sad. I don’t like being sad in my own house so those ugly things are getting transformed into something beautiful that will make me happy evey morning when I see them.
