I really fucked up in school the past couple of years, and i expect i’m going to leave with little qualifacations this year. Only choice is to continue at a college, or piss about at my part time job for a year, potentially travelling somewhere.

How I did it: I did the TEE (year 12 was absolutely painstaking, that was one miserable year.) and applied for Curtin, before changing my mind to ECU.I don't want to wait 3 years to cross this off the list, I love my classes so I reckon I'll stick it out. I'm not the 'quit school' type anyway. Read how I did it…

I can not wait to go to uni.
I’m resitting my A2s this year because I went away too much last year.
I found out yesterday that I could have done the course I wanted where I wanted with the grades I already have so i’m gutted.
BUT this year I have learned a lot about myself and I think i’ll do much better for it.
My boyfriend is going to London (where I want to go) aswell but not to the same place but i’m not going to spend all of my energy on him because I know people grow apart when they get older and stuff so people who don’t want to leave anyone behind just go for it!
I know people who are at opposite ends of the country but still make it work, if you love each other you’ll be fine.
xx
ok, so i havent logged in to here in quite a while, but if you guys have a look at the rest of my list you will see a litte mention of a certain parental divorce in there somewhere. This is the main reason why i havent ended up going to uni. I ended up getting a job in an estate agency and have been there for the last 2 years. I drives me crazy and i hate it. So a few months ago i decided to scrape myself off the floor and do something about it. I have now been accepted on to a really good Foundation Art and Design diploma course and am working my way up to becoming an Art Director. Im so excited by this. I sometimes think that everthing happens for a reason and i now feel that these 2 years in the business world has layed some pretty sturdy foundations to make it big in the creative world. Im so excited and cant wait to start the next step of my journey. It goes to show that not all origional plans are the best ones and everything happens for a reason!
Got accepted into LaTrobe Uni.Although I sent off my deferal letter like 3 weeks ago I’m still waiting to hear back from them. All I can say is I hope they got it because,Uni started like almost a week ago.
I finished my UCAS application and already got an unconditional offer back from Nottingham Trent! Good times :)
I’m enrolling in an Arts course on an online uni so I can work at the same time! Gonna be hard but it’s do-able.
elloirs has only just rediscovered this
i have no idea what i want to do with my life
my grades werent good enough to get me into any of the unis i should be applying to
so im takig a gap year
hopefully at the end of this year i’ll have achieved the grades i know i can get
and then i have a summer and about 2 months to figure everything else out, as well as all the rest of this year when im not panicking about exams.
and then once ive done applying and getting a job and saving money, well then i dont know. then maybe i might go crazy and backpack across new zealand or something.
well thats the plan anyway
got in to uni about 5 months ago and still going strong. currently have exams (the not so good part). hope to finish good, pass and have a degree at the end of 3 years
