I want people to obey me (and my ‘saints’ or ‘deacons’)
I want people to believe in what I (and my saints and parishioners) believe in…and give their money unto our administration to propagate the faith.

Elementalism is not really about worshiping a god, or even gods. Elementalism is about knowing yourself and the world around you. The basic elements being Earth, Fire, Water and Air, there is also the element of spirit. This may seem very similar too Wicca beliefs, but I assure you that they are only slightly the same. Looking inward you can see the elements within. Water provides our lifeblood, Earth makes up the shell in which all are contained. Air is always around us, giving us breath. And the fire is infused with our spirit, driving us forward in life. All of this is essential to living and flowing through the busy everyday life as sure as a stream. Understand this, understand yourself, and you are an Elementalist.
So I did do this, it’s called Byen Vidnasa, it just takes the good ideas of most religions and leaves aside the negative ones. Here’s some more information.
In the beginning, there were four Gods, those of Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Between them, they made everything and affect it now. I know this because I have held a conversation with the wind, sapped strength from the water and stuck my hand into fire without it burning. I’ve even discovered three of their names: the God of Fire is Plasma, that of Earth is Terra and that of Water is Aqua. I am on a quest to discover the God of Air’s name right now. Those of ye who doubt the truth may seek refuge here, for they may be the Herald of the Gods, a mortal with all the Gods’ abilities…
I have a symbol for my created religion: it is a crescent with a heart at the end tip, and a cross instead of a centered star. My boyfriend gave it to me as a gift.
It’s coming together! If you feel conflicted between your Methodism and your Muslim, this may be for you :).
I’m currently writing the plan of my religion.
In a few words it is based on the concept that most all cultural groups, networks, and traditions have some value. And, that if it does not seem to have value that does not mean it could not inspire the creation of value and is thus valuable because of this.
This one new religion would be dedicated to extracting, assimilated, and utilizing to the best of its ability all of that value.
Instead of doing missionary work they would not seek to recruite anyone. They would have no intention in making their numbers grow, but instead would learn to network and affiliate themselves with other religious groups.
This would be at the core of this path. That is the meeting of, learning from, and be friending of those of other paths. The more friends we acquire the stronger our own path becomes in the social mind.
The aim of each individual as well as the whole will be to improve themselves more and more all the time. This is why we would network with other religions so that we can learn from them. We would never believe we have the absolute solution. We would us other religions to help us from becoming engrossed in our own beliefs.
We would not have one set of beliefs of our own except that self-and-group-actualization is important, and that we should us everything in existence to obtain that aim.
Instead of belief in a deity we would have meditation upon the concept of deity. Pondering more and more the grand idea of a creator. Our equivalent of a sunday mass would instead of a preacher be an indepth dialog, discussion, debate, and conversation about the meaning of religion, of life, God, spirit, and all Spiritual matters.
We would not have a savior but recognize the inherent ability of each person to save him or herself from anything that ails them.
There would also be no centralized church, group, idealogy (as what I just mentioned would be considered more guidlines that rules.), or pope/spokes person type. Instead there would be numerous groups united by having come from the same basic idea (What I am sharing with you now.), and by those who do follow the guidelines as they would be doing networking work to connect to all others within our fold.
What do you think?
i want my own religion so everyone can be who ever they want you can be bi stright gay what ever and i dont believe in prison, you must not judge people, and have fun
I am starting a religion that combines aspects of Christianity and Judaism. You can read about it and even join at this website
I don’t really like religion. If you ask me, it’s all a bunch of bull to have people in power oppress others or at least brainwash others. So why do I want to start one? I want a religion that includes healthy rituals centered around functions of body i.e. sleeping, stretching, moving, eating, drinking, breathing, digesting, hygiene, sex, and also healthy mental practices. Something to keep me in line. And not some lame magazine that teaches girls that they have to be one way or another. Something more meaningful than the average commercialized stuff.
I am Christian and my man is Muslim. For the sake of familial harmony, I want to make a hybrid religion in which women wear hijab, pray five times a day, fast during Ramadan, but also worship Jesus. I love how disciplined Islam is and I want to go back to the roots of the teachings of Jesus by living by some of the standards of the Qu’ran.
