CloverFoxx its not getting what you want. its wanting what youve got

november 4 days ago

so the diet planning and stuff hasnt been working well.
buuuut
i am eating salads at work instead of bacon sandwiches.
i am taking a daily vitamin, with a v8.
i have a morning ‘snack’ that i eat over the course of a few hours, high protein, some sugars, good fats. nuts and berries. keeps me full ish without too bad caloric damage.
then by the time im actually awake enough to eat a meal im not sooo hungry that i grab the first thing i find (bacon sandwich?) and can think about what im going to eat.
drinking a lot more water also helps

Susiesoux is having a self-improvement weekend

Untitled 4 days ago

we’re doing this much better now. we went on the south beach for a couple of weeks which kickstarted a healthy approach to brekkie and lunch which was my big issue. I’ve had to travel for the last few weeks which has put that out again, but this weekend should change that, and after a big shop tonight, i should be on track again!

I plan on systematically improving my diet by taking these steps. 1 week ago

For everything I stop eating, replace it with something else.

Eat only Whole Foods, Raw Milk, More Vegetables & Fruits, Whole Grains, Etc…

Eat less Meat but better quality; more Seafood of higher quality…

Eat Whole Foods Only: No refined, processed or devitalized foods.

Brown Rice, Whole Wheat, Barley, Oats, Muesli, etc…

winter soup diet 3 weeks ago

something resembling pho
some kind of sweet barbeque-y bean soup
a good veggie soup
a spicy kinf od bean based soup
a few more.
something besides just soup because i KNOW i will get bored with a liquid diet. and it wont fill me completely.

low sugar, low fat, high protein, high fluids, combined with the cold and some exercise, should melt me away during the winter months.

need to look into herbs and spices so that im not going bonkers on the salt. and so things taste different, not just like crushed red pepper. which is amazing for soup.

for the winter months, im going to do an atkins-esque low carb diet. with lots of soups and spices and good lean meats and beans. basically anything that it out of season in the wintertime, i wont eat.

then when summer comes around, lots of fresh fruits and veggies, lots of fish and chicken, very little red meat.

the whole time: lots of water. vitamin pills.

need to start coming up with recipes.

Raw Food Detox 1 month ago

I bought this book and found it satisfied me, but I bailed on it after some stressful days at work and readily available pizza (read: excuses). I’m going to try it again to kick start my eating better routine. I have a fabulous green market close to home that’s open every weekend so maybe I can learn how to pick veggies properly instead of going for just going for what’s prettiest.

really now 1 month ago

i need to come up with a plan to fill this goal, not just the idea of it. im beginning to lose my balance completely, between not eating enough and not eating right. im losing weight, but not in the good, keep-it-off way.
i got some healthier snacks, and some decent (but not great) pre-packaged foods, since the kitchen is still MIA atm.
cocoa-dusted (DUSTED not COATED) almonds, and dried tri-berry mix. cherries, cranberries, and blueberries. its pretty nice. going to make myself up a few bags of single-serving mixed fruit/nut things, and try to eat that for breakfast with a glass of skim milk. then i wont be as tempted to eat all the bacon at work, itll start my metabolism, etc.etc. breakfast is good for you.
i need to now work out lunch and dinner plans, getting enough veggies n stuff.

as a student i ate rubbish for my 1st year and then decided enough was enough, i know plan meals before i shop, and know how to make a good meal out of barely any ingredients and left overs.
i make sure i buy enough veg, and as i dont eat most meat, i now make sure i either have fish or quorn with every meal.

caffeine 2 months ago

the bane of my existence.
BUT also possibly good.
Im eating less, because im drinking so much coffee that it inhibits my appetite.
but the sugars probably arent doing me any good
and the crash at the end of the day kinda sucks
but im really active, and busy at work, and wouldnt be able to keep speed without the caffeine. i dont think i would, anyway.

eating LESS isnt the point tho, its eating BETTER and caffeine in as high quantities as i have been ingesting is not good for me, in general…

Choleesa bored.......

Eating better 3 months ago

I would like to start eating better.
Not only because I NEED to, but because I want to.
HEY!, Ive only got this one body right?? Do I want to stretch it beyond any state of attractiveness? Do I want to torment it to the point where it quits serving my purpose?
