eubielicious is reconsidering his goals for the next week...
I’ve been asked by a friend who is looking for someone to create and administer a database.
Now, I’ve used Access to create queries etc. but that was a few years ago. I’m reasonably sure that I can get back into it, but need to spend some ‘computer time’ to get used to the idea and learn about setting up the database as well as the user interface. Also the reports and queries! Hmmm. I do wonder whether it’s worth while for a smallish job, but then I guess there will be other opportunities too.

There are so many better tools for creating a database. Access is simply too limited and too limiting to be useful.

it’s ok, but I prefer Oracle. I only learned Access to help a friend on a final exam in an Access class.
