This time I planned it and got it! The only night I have without classes during the work days is on Fridays and we completed 38 months together in the last one. I had to do something to enjoy this coincidence. I bought some candles, cooked bruschettas and pasta with tomate sauce and get a delicious ice cream. I tried to make a surprise, but I think I wasn’t good on it. Any way, he liked a lot our first candle light dinner. We talked a lot and drank a rose wine a friend gave me last month.
Now I want to start a list of dating things I’ve never done yet (43T girl friends, I want your precious help :D)! This was the first one and I want to continue. This crazy life sometimes make me forget how girly and romantic I really am.

June is a month full of celebration.
The Date Day is on a Friday. Even it’s after a holiday (Corpus Christi), Friday is a work-and-college day and probably we won’t make big celebrations (and I hate lines at restaurants).
Our relationship anniversary is on the Sunday before and we can make celebrations during all the weekend, if possible. I think a candlelit dinner will be great, as we never did it.
Now I’m searching for the right recipe. Have to be practice, because I have to be beautiful to the time to eat, talk and date :) It can be something simple too and we can eat early, seeing the sunset (if it’s not raining as usual this time of the year).
I have already some ideas in my mind. It will be great if it is a thing I can get done previously and just but to cook while I get ready and gorgeous. Maybe a pasta or a chilli. What could be special to this occasion?

Marigold you are exactly where you need to be
Had a gorgeous candlelit dinner. He made us spaghetti, we had wine and candles and music, and best of all… we did it all in our underwear! It was romantic and relaxed and fun all at once, lots of flirting and laughing. Perfect. :)

we should plan for this rather than just accept it as a gift of weather :)

I had the best ever Valentines yesterday. Got home from work and the boyfriend had made a table so we could eat our meal in the dining room and there were lots of candles and the fire was going…very romantic. He cooked me a lovely meal of chicken with roast potatoes and veggies with ice cream for dessert. I felt totally spoiled and it was a special night for us both :)

It’s Valentines Day next month so I would really like to have a nice candlelit meal to celebrate. The only problem is we don’t have a dining table and chairs yet… I’d like to get all the furniture sorted out in the next month or two so hopefully I will find a nice set we can use.

I’ve never actually eaten a romantic meal by candlelight before, so I’m planning on having a nice, romantic evening in this weekend for my anniversary.

He didn’t seem to get the idea of wanting it to be romantic, but he cooked nice food at least, and didn’t blow the candles out. I’d like to do this with someone who gets it :P
