do new and exciting things with my love

Well this week the love of my life shocked me by coming to the gym with me! I think he’s all inspired by “The Biggest Loser” lol. Plus, my months of subtle suggestions have finally paid off ;) Anyway, it was nice having him there! Kind of weird at first….the gym has always been ‘my’ thing. But I love having him there, and it’s another way to do things together.

We’ve decided to have a date night every Friday or Saturday night. We always used to do this, and it was so much fun, but for some reason it just hasn’t happened lately! And we’re taking turns in deciding what we’re going to do.
So last night Damian took me out for a delicious dinner, then we went and played some games at the arcade thingy – i even beat him at air hockey….and almost at some racing car game. It was so fun! I’ve never actually been in one of those places before! Then we went and saw Aeon Flux.
I had a great night…...we’ve been making some really positive changes and it feels good. :)

We went to a show that combined Anime with techno soundscapes. Definately new and exciting.

Two and a half years into our wonderful relationship and I feel like it’s important to do things to keep our love feeling fresh and exciting. I know that it can’t be all ‘butterflies in the stomach’ like when we first met all the time, but I don’t want us to lose the wonder and excitement for each other. This is something I’m going to work on….having more beautiful times where we fall in love all over again.
