adopt a cat from an animal shelter

I wish there was a “someday” option rather than just giving up on a goal, cos I really would like to do this someday. But for the moment it’s simply not possible, so I’m removing it from the list for the moment.

Someday I want to rescue an adult cat from a shelter. Kittens have no problem finding a new home – people want a cat that hasn’t acquired any bad habits and will grow up to fit in with their household, and of course they have the “awww” factor in spades! But adult cats aren’t so lucky and many of them have nothing to look forward to but a lonely stay in a shelter and then euthanasia. I wish it were possible now, but unfortunately my current apartment is too small. But someday, I’m going to sweep some unloved kitty off to a new life, pamper her, spoil her rotten, love her to bits, and make all her kitty-dreams come true.
