this makes me happy. not sure why. just does. i enjoy the music and just everything about it. it’s one of those things i wish i created. i have plenty of those. ;]
Dance children, dance to the beat,
Wanna be a hippy cause life was so sweet
Good-morning hate
Dance children, dance to the beat,
Wanna rock and roll up and down the street,
Ive got a message
Love is a good
Love is a good
Love is a good thing..
all i really need is..
family
friends
art
music
mother nature
food/water/air
what i need less of:
computer time!
cell phone being turned on
tv.. (i already don’t do much of this.. but still holds truth)
i need to realize i don’t need all of those clothes that i want.. eek.
I’d like to lead a more simplified life. Definitely shorten my use of technology. A few times I have turned my cell phone off for a couple days. And it just feel so nice. I really do feel like I depend on material objects more than I should. I’m going to try to keep my phone off for longer periods of time (only use when I need to. I also would like to go on the computer A LOT less. I’m one of the many people in this day and age that go on the computer at least once a day—- I would really like to lessen that. Just open a good book instead. Relax. Enjoy a nice night outside with a friend, talking.
All you really need is yourself and possibly a friend to have a nice time. Other times it’s really nice to just relax with your thoughts—-
you don’t really need too many personal possessions to be a happy camper.

No, I’m not saying I’m throwing away my money or plan to live a gypsy life. As a human being, I’m a natural consumer who thinks happiness is wanting more. “My life is perfect because I accept it as it is” ~ Lenny Kravits.
i’m learning how to do this very slowly
i think i’m learning how to be unhappy with alot faster than being happy with less
trying to give away random things to friends…but not just junk, things that i have…but things that my friends will actually enjoy and use more than I. starting off conservatively with 5 things a month, but not limiting it to that…goes along with simplifying life, making a difference, and being a better friend….the first thing i gave away was my favorite book in the world…it’s been something that i always keep with me, but it was time to pass it on to someone important who i know will make good use of it.
i think i do fairly well with this…there are some ways i can be better though…and smarter…and happier.
materialistic = suck the life out of me
