So I’m 3/4 of a term into the course… Its tough but I’m going to get there!! I’m actually at a Level 1, but am doing both Level 1 & 2 work- I don’t want to spend another year doing this!
I have one more thing to say on the matter at present: Fractions are loooooooooong!!!!

I have recently found out I must retake my maths GCSE to gain entry onto a teacher training course. While I understand that I need to teach basic key skills… I will be teaching Theatre. So unless there’s a mathematitian character, I don’t feel that this is relevant!
But, to gain entry I must pass.
Now I’ve always struggled with maths, taken the flipping exam twice and got the same mark- E.
I’m hoping and praying that the class will be small and the tutor will be able to break it all down for me.
We’ll see. I’ll update this in September

I didn’t manage to get a C this year either (got a D again). =/
Although, I’m doing my Maths GCSE again and I’m going to make sure I pass this time.

Already part way through my 1 year re-take course. One piece of coursework done, one more to go. Then it’s exam time.

Paper speeding up destiny
(or forever) now I’ve decided that teaching looks like lots of hard work and paperwork and that going into cultural management looks like much more of a me plan. Sorry Maths GCSE but I just don’t like you and all your hard work makes my brain hurt.

But I passed last year and the feeling you get passing that stupid exam is amazing. I keep my certificate next to my desk, I havent used it yet but at least I will never have to do it again! Well worth doing and you will never need to touch the subject again! Unless you become a Maths Teacher.

Paper speeding up destiny
though I don’t know yet, I’m banking on either winning the lottery or writing my million selling book series about Isaac Hickory the eccentric tramp, but if all that fails, I might be one of those teacher things, but I have to have my Maths gcse which I don’t, even though I have lied many times about it. Learn Direct looks like the way to go, especially seeing as they’re based a few streets from me.
