Unbelievable experience. I recommend the Annapurna Circuit trek. takes about 12 days.

living in the shadows of the most outward extremity of earth, how could that not affect your philosophy.
not because it’s the biggest, but because i imagine mists and wending passage, indirect sunlight. i want to smell it, and feel it underfoot and in my hands. there is an expression ‘a good scent from a strange mountain’ i read from a book about vietnam. i might be conflating the two.
