We all know that Valentine’s Day is, for the most part, a phony holiday, but if you have women in your house, and I have three, you’d be a fool not to acknowledge them with a card, gift, and/or flowers. One of the best ways for making that special someone feel special is a hand-made valentine. It’s really not hard. This year, I used office supplies including blank 3×5 cards, red and black sharpies and ball-point pens, and a pink highlighter. My daughters love pink. The valentines are nothing fancy, but we’re not fancy people and I’m not a clever artist.
